When it comes to “Vote blue no matter who” it is because team red has no plan other than get their guy in office. That guy fomented an insurrection, we all saw it happen live. That guy has already promised retribution if elected. There are groups readying plans to fire “non-loyal” federal workers the day that guy takes office and replace them with sycophants. That is literally an existential crisis for our country.

In addition, team red has tried to stop aid to Ukraine, repeatedly. Nobody outside of team red thinks it should be cut. Doing so would only benefit Russia.

Team red believes so much misinformation that they do not know how far out of touch with reality they are.

There are legitimate reasons to discuss politics when they have us so close to a precipice. I think we should be fighting about politics and wealth hoarders at the same time!

I guarantee that they still keep everyone’s watch history whether they consent or not. Facebook has been building shadow profiles on people for years. It’s reasonable to surmise that all major tech companies do the same. They simply removed the usefulness for the user but they still keep and profit from it for themselves.

Anecdotally, before they removed recommendations for not having a watch history I would still need to create new accounts on occasion due to being locked into the same recommendations based on my watch history. Even though I opted out of watch history from the time of account creation.

I see this “drives engagement” claim all the time and at first glance it makes sense. But why would they do things like remove recommendations completely for users without watch history turned on? That is the exact opposite of driving engagement.

I do not want my money to go to paying off publishers. I want my money going to support well funded and continuous development of a product that defeats their current business model. I hate being tracked and sold. I want the entire system to die.

I’m willing to pay a monthly subscription to help keep uBO fully functional. If I pay a subscription to a service like youtube to remove ads then I am only ad free on youtube. Whereas uBO blocks ads on everything.
