Once upon a time, reddit was an open-source platform. Never again it has the same face when it decided to close the sources, then the UI changes, then the ads, then the API charges. All of those are for the profits of them, not of users’.

Liftoff ftw, seriously, the interface is slick and pleasant unlike its reddit official counterpart with great features like aggregates all your subscribed feeds from multiple accounts together. I’m not returning to reddit for the time being to be harvested by the third party API fees and rather paid the liftoff’s developer some coffees instead.

Exactly. Misinformation is not generated from those tech companies itself. It is coming from the news created by the mass media giant and the underlying users. This only serves as a proxy war between the traditional media and big tech corporate.
