My DPO basically told me that since reddit told me (I contacted reddit first as per the GDPR) that I can delete my comments myself I should go ahead and do that, and that my case was closed. Even after telling her that there were still 2 comments visible only when my profile is viewed “signed out”, and I provided a screenshot of a regular browser window where I am signed in and an incognito window where I am not, her reply was that once I delete my account they will not be linked to me in any way so they do not violate the GDPR…
Ive been engaged in discussion with my country’s data protection officer since the summer, and the reply I got was that I should delete comments myself. There are 2 comments that appear on my profile only if viewed while I am signed out, and when I raised the concerns with her I basically got the reply that “there is no personal information contained within and once you delete your account there is no username attached to them so you cant be linked with them”. Is she right, and how do I handle this situation?
Lord cat thanks you for your offering and expects more next week
Me too, and an illogically large amount of our work revolves around fixing the HP printers for our staff
I ate gyro last night and when I read this I was very confused for a couple seconds
Thanks, I now get it! 😊
Could someone explain what happened to me like im 5 please?
My uninformed take on this is that its almost impossible because countries have different power standards. Of course i may be entirely wrong, or correct but with an entirely incorrect reasoning. Please people who actually know correct me below
Easiest one that comes to mind is the archlinux.org forums. It pops up constantly in searches, even if youre not searching for an arch specific problem, so I used it even before daily driving arch. Now I have an account on there and have made a few posts seeking help. Most of the time though someone has already asked it, and someone else has already provided a solution.
This seems like it could be useful info if it takes off
This thread is pretty much all brother 🤣
Currently re-playing Assassin’s Creed 1 and playing Vanilla WoW for the first time on a private server.
Im remembering how much I liked AC1. I know many people say it wasnt that great of a game, but to me its exactly what an Assassin’s Creed game should be - stalk, plan, stealth, assassinate, escape.
WoW is also really fun. I tried getting into retail a few times over the years but there was just too much. It was way too overwhelming. Vanilla seems to be just right for a new player.
Holy crap thats it! Installing now through lutris. You people are awesome
Edit: its asking for an iso so i guess ill need to get it on steam
Mobile typing for the win haha
Start smoking too so it doesnt bother you /j
But actually, if it got in any soft materials like couches they will still hold a smell. Not sure if it can happen even if its just from his clothes after hes already smoked. Other than that, ozone as others have suggested.
I dont remember the name of it, but you flew around in a blue spaceshit type thing. I think the story involved you being in some futuristic scifi navy/army. One word I can remember being said a lot (i think your wingman or something said it sometimes when you got a kill) is “Casbah”.
Its not a lot but I was very very young, and played it on my uncle’s PC over a summer while I was visiting my relatives abroad. If anyone has even remotely any idea what Im blabbering about please tell me 😂. Ive been occasionally thinking about it for years.
Can someone fill me in?
I just think it’s fascinating to learn about those relationships and think about the things we can’t know
On that we agree :) If you like language/linguistic content in general, check out this guy. He makes content about old norse and such, its really interesting
Doesnt work that way over here sadly 😁🥲
