So buying one ticket to Disney world means I get to go back whenever I want right?
Do you not realize you just gave a justification for piracy?
Do you care about moral reasoning or just what is legal where you currently are?

You can’t just say thats not a reason. That is the reason they pirated a movie.
I think the reasons people move to cities in the US might not be the same as in the EU. Arguably quality of life peaks, in the US, in the surrounding suburbs of major cities. The closer you get to downtown the more expensive and the more difficult it is to do things.
In Europe I get the impression moving to larger cities actually does improve a lot of aspects of life on an individual basis.
For example, we have considered moving to New York or Chicago but what stops us is the amount of money needed and how difficult it can be just to keep up with a regular life in a city that dense and hostile.
What are the long term risks associated with being a sex worker? Is that any different than being a long term call center worker or secretary, or construction worker?
I guess they are a single issue resident.
Why is it when someone says “many reasons” it usually means “I can’t think of a specific reason, but I’m sure there are bunches of them”.
That doesnt work in the long term unless you kill everyone that knows about it. Its a weak plan at best.
How’s the network wide ad blocking work, that would solve a big issue with my kids.
Is containers here used in the same context as docker? I’m not familiar with podman.
Did you not post “nothing has intrinsic value”?
Well your body is just a tool your mind uses to complete tasks right? You can be objective about the tools you use can’t you? You could even similarly protect your tools like your mind protects your body if you felt it necessary.
How do you decide what you can be objective about and what you can’t?
If you think I look silly, sure. All I’m saying is all of the meat advocates that jumped to attack the OP are missing the point.
Now, why would you all misconstrue what they said so bad? Are you all seriously arguing that even close to a substantial percent of people hunt for their own food?
Maybe, just MAYBE, they weren’t talking about all of you who actually have, and instead were making a point about how the vast majority of people in at least the US have not and will not hunt their own food in their lifetime. The number drops if we only consider those who actually provide for themselves with hunting rather than treat it as a sport with meat as a bonus.
No you are right, they must have literally meant that noone has ever hunted ever. That makes much more sense. Definitely doesnt say anything about your reading comprehension.
I get it, they are coming for your meat, probably your guns too. Life’s rough. Keep up the good fight.
All of your efforts at self-preservation seem to disagree.
Hey we can all just work to be better versions of ourselves, and theres a lot of ways to make progress. Considering I’m the only vegan in my family, I likely buy more meat than you do.
Its really just important to me that people dont allow themselves to stop growing mentally and morally. Its sad when people behave like they have all the answers to everything already.
Because more people want meat every year.
Its not buying it that causes the death, its that you’ve shown you want the meat, so the company is killing the animal to produce the meat for you to buy.
You want meat, they produce meat. You dont want meat, they stop producing meat.
The replies to this are chefs kiss
Everyone talks about the annoying vegan, but look at all of the rage-induced replies from the meat eaters.
I counted maybe a dozen strawmen? People really are resistant to any kind of change, even the thought of it.
If you thought they were saying noone has ever killed their own meat, you are missing the point.
Well assume I do and that was my response. I’m sure thats not all it takes to convince someone a conspiracy isn’t true.
How do conspiracy folk answer that counterpoint?
