yeah holy shit i loved black and white. i actually tried recently to get it to run on my pc again and was actually able to play although there were some issues.

do they have a sizable community? honestly i just assumed it was almost exclusively used for image hosting.

kids today have it tough that’s for sure. I’m curious to see how this affects society as a whole in 20-30 years.

I like how so far it seems people here are less aggressive and more willing to work together towards a goal that satisfies both parties rather than have a big dick swinging contest and get nowhere. Good job Lemmy.

yeah i deleted Sync :( and just replaced the app with the Jerboa app for Lemmy. Now i open my phone and automatically click Lemmy and its working pretty well for me.

yes i saw that yesterday and im really happy thats available for people who still want to be there without ads. For me though at this point im just done with reddit completely.

Thats funny my wife had the official app for a while and deleted it when I showed her Sync, I didn’t even realize she wasn’t using Sync to browse reddit i just assumed she did and never asked. I used Sync for years and years. Alien Blue I think before that. I assumed reddits app probably looked something like they’re new browser site and I hated that thing. I only ever used old.reddit with RES. Now I’ll never go back there again if I don’t have a good reason too.

okay I’ve learned a bit because I’m pretty sure I understand that now. Like I said it’s gonna take a few weeks but I’ll get there. I’m pretty determined to leave reddit and have been for a long time just needed a push. I’m already making my way around my new “frontpage” alright. I do like how fast everything is and how comments and upvotes seem to be live.

i just use discord for one group my friend made called 'omies and its just like 5 of us from highschool and maybe 15 others from around the world we’ve added over the years. its mostly just for us to have a place to voice chat while we game. I don’t use discord for anything else.
