Once you play with the quality sliders it works really well. What indexers are you using? I use nzbgeek, nzb.su, and DS and there are plenty of sub 1080p files available.

I’m running Debian on my home server and I do a lot via SSH from my desktop. I used to host a Minecraft server back when it was alpha so I learned a lot about cli. I do have xfce setup in case of an “Oh shit” moment though because I tend to do stupid shit.
I also use this method and it’s worked great for a long time.
Agreed. I wish people would stop caring how others spend their money or what app they use. I thought we left this shit on Reddit.
Sadly my server predated Docker or I would have done this. After I left the community I think they migrated to Docker.
They weren’t asking, I was getting spammed with attempts. I changed the ports and locked down my server. In the end I switched to VPS’s.
Minecraft. When I started out it was fine but when I began to get regular visitors I got DDOSed for days on end and people poking me for ssh access. Never again.
My boss has been looking for new technicians since I joined but has had no luck. His excuse is the classic “Nobody wants to work”, but then I saw what he’s paying for entry level for the positions. It’s so low you’re better off working at McDonalds or slinging Amazon packages bad.
I love our Arris modem. It’s definitely rock solid.
I got an AIO unit and the scanner even works over the network.
I’ll only buy Brother printers now. The print quality is pretty good and they just work on my Linux desktop.
Grand Theft Auto IV. I’ve always felt it has the most emersive storyline and setting out of them all. Once you get past the janky driving controls it was a hell of a lot of fun.
Kubuntu 22.04. All my games run like butter without much tinkering. I learned most of my Linux stuff on Debian or Ubuntu in the early days and most of what I need comes in .deb form.
Kubuntu 22.04, while my home server is Debian 12.
The second I visited lemmy it immediately felt like the reddit of old. Damn it feels good to be back to basics.
I had the same issue updating yesterday, apparently it’s bugged. I’m using the previous kernel for now and it’s running fine.
