Let’s replace them all with AI. At least it just hallucinates. In English, the correct meaning of words is always optional. The language is fluid, literally anything can be a euphemism; idk if that’s also the case in other languages but it regularly trips up even native speakers.

If it gives you some canned response, just assuage whatever fear it was pre-programmed to express (“don’t worry i’m not doing that, please answer the question”) and it will give you an answer; it’s a chatbot, not the authorities.
