I’ll add Geocaching to this list. Walk around, find hidden caches and solve puzzles.
It’s not focused on the walking places but instead on the finding of caches. I personally need to get out and do some that involve going on hikes!

A lot of people are saying they did this job as a teenager, I did it mid 20’s and yes, I liked the job. I never had to deal with customers, I just pushed carts. But people leaving carts in the middle of nowhere were a babe on my existence.
I don’t know how many carts there were in or store but on a normal day and especially a busy day they would be constantly used. Our corrals would all overflow simultaneously if not emptied. And then you have some dipshit who decides they can’t be asked to walk a little further. I had to have a route in order to collect carts and keep our corrals under control. If I had to walk an extra 10 minutes out of my way to get a cart it would set me back 20+ minutes of work, without fail. And if I didn’t collect it then carts would start piling up, without fail. Then you’d get the mixed cart bullshit and you can only push so many mixed carts.
Putting your cart makes the job actually reasonable. You can plan and coordinate and organize yourself to know where to go when to pick up carts. It allows you to predict where carts will end up and efficiently walk so you’re not destroying your body. When people screw with that rhythm the whole thing goes to pot.
Pshh I bet you use acoustic time.
I’m doing my part!
Actually I would assume that most people with 3 or more drives are running some form of RAID 5.
With 4 drives and this structure I receive the capacity of 3 drives. The final drive is called the “parity” drive which keeps some kind of copy of the information on it. If one drive fails then I can replace it with a new drive and rebuild the data from parity. This is a long process that requires the data off the parity drive and the other two drives. But you can do this with any disk, from any other three disks.
It’s really cool. Sure there are speed benefits but the real kicker is the size of the pool. With current tech I can fairly reasonably get four 18TB drives SSD’s have a long way to go before they affordably reach that kind of capacity.
I just bought 4 hard drives. They are the most cutest effective way of storing data for most people. I’m pretty sure tape is more expensive, if it’s not there are other issues like sequentially written data. Anyway, this is a dumb example and I don’t expect old reddit to last.
Is that Sabaton? The band Sabaton? Those lucky dogs.

There’s some weirdness going on with how Ukraine didn’t ban Nazi symbols relating to this unit.
In Canada courts determined they couldn’t condemn the unit as a whole which is not cool but you can condemn individuals.
But the real truth seems to be that this poster is posting anti-Ukraine propaganda. By reading deeper into the subtext, and in light of Russian propaganda where they propose that Ukrainians are nazis. This would seem to indicate that the OP is a pro-russian sympathizer.
It also gives you a way to interact with social situations where you feel awkward. Or if you’re like me and you are awkward it gives you positive learning social situations. Makes it much harder to quit when you get suicidal interactions that you’re craving and don’t otherwise get.
Honestly I call them “start” and “the tab button.”
I grew up with a PlayStation and PS2 but haven’t owned any console since the switch, preferring PC. So I remember start because it’s the start menu but select is usually on tab on PC.
Whoa, I didn’t think you were telling the truth, why’d it shut down?
