Heading to Pick-N-Pull before it gets too hot. Hoping to score some factory fog lights for my 99 Legacy. Even if someone got them already there are some plastic bits I need.
Then figure if the local parts stores have power steering belts at similar pricing to Rockauto. Buy one either way. Temp will be 90 so I’m not touching it tomorrow anyway.
Follow up - the fog lights were gone but I snagged a few other bits.
Going to get the belt from AutoZone. Rockauto is slightly cheaper but shipping costs kill the deal. I also try to shop whenever possible to help my city and county.
Things to do Thursday now?
I’m probably going to detail my car later, at least give it a wash and keep it in good condition. Probably in a few weeks I’ll end up adjusting the valves (old Honda) and doing a change of every fluid, since it’s getting to that time
Fog lights are on my “to get” list, I need to order some factory style ones since as far as I know they weren’t common for my vehicle in the US market. Mostly a Canada thing.
I definitely need to set aside some time to change my timing belt though, probably sooner rather than later
