I hope to never go back to office. Remote has been a life changer. I have time to keep weeds out of my garden. The flexibility to have workers at my house whenever they are available. The freedom to set up my desk how I like it. Time to eat breakfast. I don’t get headaches every day any more from the lighting. I get to go outside during breaks for some sunshine time. I’m here when the kids come home.

My work is more focused. No more road stress. I may be able to move to a place I can tolerate. No more wearing makeup that is bad for my skin. No more having to pack a lunch. My life is infinitely better without having to commute.

Because when it comes to survival until procreation, you don’t need more than two sets.

Haha. Marriage is just the beginning. Not anywhere close to actualization. And if you have kids, you’ll realize you’re still at the beginning.

It’s not like bees pollinate for our benefit.

There’s a reason animals run away from the monkeys with pointy sticks. We eliminated the ones that don’t until we got comfortable enough that we had the luxury of turning them into various forms of entertainment, and therefore had a reason to preserve some.

I’ve had to forge a path for my gender expression from the beginning, and I was lucky because I was born a girl. If I’d been born a boy interested in forging my own gender path, I’d have been super ridiculed and bullied instead of just slightly.

A world where people can just be is ideal, but until it is real, I support people being given the freedom to figure themselves out. Whether or not I agree with the methods is irrelevant.

My oldest kid shifted their identity weekly, if not daily for a bit, and while it drove me nuts, I told them my crazy level shouldn’t change them doing what they need to do, so long as it isn’t permanent until they settle down for awhile. Cutting hair, non- extreme binding, crazy makeup, or wearing fake nails doesn’t hurt anyone so knock themselves out in a non-literal way.

I prefer green and drive silver because I like to try to blend in.

The short and unsatisfactory answer to your question is that this isn’t a hostile work environment. A hostile work environment is narrowly defined. You telling everyone about his rape of your friend is closer to the definition than him being a rapist.

An unsafe work environment applies only to physical hazard, so the same goes there. You’d have to demonstrate and prove that he is causing you current harm. Basically, unless he sexually harasses you or attempts to rape you, and you can prove it, there is no leg for you to stand on.

The law was built by men. It’s built on what has happened, not what could happen. It doesn’t protect victims, only inconsistently avenge. The bulk of protections in place are for accused/ perpetrators.

Agree. When I say “people are stupid” I mean they are living below their potential. The average person may have the intelligence, but consistently refuse to use it.

I mean, you teach yourself to drink something that tastes rotten. It impairs your ability to think and accomplish basic tasks. It increases your risk for legal trouble. It can make you vomit and sick the next day. It damages your internal organs, and it costs a ton. Finally, it traps you into needing it.
