1 year agoBut then we’d need something for faster flight inside a system. Like E:D does for example. I Won’t spend 7hrs traveling from planet to planet just for the immersion :D

Larian already did excellent split screen in D:OS2 (Maybe also in other games, no idea). The controller UI is very different from the M+K one and split screen is only available with controller input.
Even better, easier sorting.
Can’t remember the last time I heard a ringtone. Don’t even know what ringtone I have. The world has turned awfully quiet in that regard.

13·1 year agoIt’s like theyre/theire/they’re - in my experience it’s mostly native speakers confusing them.
My “peak” time in minecraft was somewhere around 2011/12 when a small server with friends evolved into a somewhat bigger (~100 players daily) fun server that I mantained for a year. Fond memories. Nowadays everytime I try to get back into it, I feel like I have to learn everything again. So much has changed. Still love it, playing for a while with my wife has become a yearly occurence, although I don’t get invested in it like I used to back then.
Yes, I do. Reddit was a great source for troubleshooting and interesting knowledge. But without the drama and the resulting digital diaspora I would have never found out about lemmy.
1·1 year agoFellow boost user here, I think it was even in /r/BoostForReddit/ where I found out about Lemmy and so far I don’t think I’ll ever go back to reddit. Bit sad about loosing Boost tho.
I have a 2 running teamspeak for gaming with my wife (separate rooms and don’t want to yell) and pihole. And a 3 hooked to a 3d printer running octoprint.
