American ninja warrior has had more and more women making it farther and farther in the competition every year. There are still handicaps in place to make sure at least some women make it to the finals but after that there are no handicaps. At this point, even if they removed all the handicaps there would still be women that reach the finals, just not as many. It’s been very interesting to watch.
The announcers still try to hype up the women’s achievements but at this point most of the big barriers have been broken. They’ve had to resort to stuff like, “if she gets a buzzer here she’ll be only the second mom to get a buzzer in qualifying!”. It’s kind of silly at this point.
Looks like Prey 2016 with a bit of Mirrors Edge. I’m definitely more interested now than I was before. I never played the original Perfect Dark games so I don’t really have any expectations.
The US has so much red on its ledger it will never be balanced. And there are plenty of apologists for atrocities in our history. They’re just as bad as the Chinese or Russian (or pick whatever country you want because they’re all guilty to some extent) when they do it.
Denying historical events and refusing to come to terms with their causes and repercussions is not a left or right problem.
You can be as communist as you want but pretending that events with photographic evidence didn’t actually happen put you in the same category as moon landing deniers in my book.
The hilarious thing is that Sony could open their own pc storefront selling steam keys, keep their 30%, and the only restriction would be maintaining price parity with the same game on the Steam storefront.
For a. Company like Sony that already has all the payment processing and customer service knowhow, this would be far easier for them than most.
Yet they can’t or won’t bother because suits are fucking stupid.
That’s fair, I suppose, but awfully ambiguous. It would be better if they just said, “Allegations of sexual harassment were found to be unsubstantiated” or similar if that’s actually the case.
Allegations that sexual harassment were ignored or not addressed were false.
The only way to read this, assuming the lawyers wrote the statement, is that sexual harassment did happen but was “addressed”. Otherwise they’d just say the claims of sexual harassment were unsubstantiated.
I’d like to know more about how those claims were addressed before making final judgement.
The question isn’t whether Marijuana is habit forming. Obviously for some percentage it is. The question is whether Marijuana use in and of itself encourages or preface additional drug use. My position is that it does not and by legalizing Marijuana we would find that it is the interaction with black market drug dealers which correlates instead.
Marijuana is not a gateway drug.
Having to deal with a drug dealer that wants to also sell you actually addictive drugs is the gateway.
Legalize pot, sell it at the grocery store, and you will watch the number of addicts in general fall precipitously. I guarantee it.
Making better kettles is easier when your entire electric grid is optimised for it.
Seriously, 220 volts will just always get you a faster boil than 120. It’s physics.
It’s on gamepass so that’d be a much bigger proposition.
You must be fun at parties.
While your toilet isn’t alive to crave your waste, the microbes and such at the waste water facility that your crap goes to do in fact crave and need your waste to survive and propogate. It ain’t ice cream, but your crap always ends up as food for something.
I didn’t ignore anything. You edited your reply to make it look like I did.
I replied at 7:31GMT. You replied to that at 7:34GMT. You edited your original post at 7:44GMT for some reason.
This isn’t reddit where you can’t see when or if someone edited their comment.
This is just goal moving at this point. And stating just plain incorrect facts. I’m out.
The pi 4 is literally $35 right now. The original pi, adjusted for inflation, was $47.
Of course the pi 4 is still part of the product range. It’s still being actively manufactured and sold. Same for the pi3.
As far as memory size, that wasn’t part of your original complaint. You want a $35 computer, that’s how much you get. The original pi was $35 and had 256mb of ram.
-edit also, $35 in 2012 is $47 today with inflation. The pi 4 is a crazy good deal and readily available. This complaint just has no merit.
The cheapest rpi that isn’t a zero or pico started at $35. You can buy a Pi 4 Model B 1GB for $35 on pishop.us right now.
The pi 5 won’t ever be $35 because that’s not the price point it was designed to hit. That’s why they have a range of products, so you can buy the one that fits your budget.
