I would be voting for the better GOP candidate in the primary hoping they win, and likely the Dem come general election, but since I’m in a red area I’d expect the Dem to lose but maybe help pick the lesser of two evils for the GOP?

I’ve been considering changing my registration to Republican specifically for primaries. I’m in SD, and the Republican almost always wins so I feel I’d have more impact trying to push the right left and can still vote however I want in the general.
If I have a little extra time I’ll run water through the coffee maker without any grounds if that’s somehow better?
I was going to point out the OP includes the Red River which is not part of the Mississippi basin as well as a few other smaller errors. Like your post more.
And the guy that took this photo is fully nude?
I read “cat” instead of car and thought it was a pretty great meme for a moment
Dolphins and Jets colors. Black Friday football game on Amazon video on Friday. Guess that’s how they’re promoting it.
So we can be hungry again in time for supper? Lol
But seriously sushi is amazing
My younger sisters (22and 23) have never had a Facebook account but are into Instagram and Snapchat. To some degree an age difference is at play. I’m 30 and it’s crazy how differently we’re involved with the internet.
A lot of car washes popping up near me with a monthly fee unlimited washes program that I’m positive is just a better version of what Walter did in Breaking Bad. Scan your app’s QR code and away you go, meanwhile someone behind the scenes rings it up as a cash sale and throws $15 into the till.
Very true when talking historical events. Say the USA lost the American Revolution and it’s now a land mass of Brits that can’t believe how foolish the revolutionaries were. (Although if other colonies are any indication independence may have eventually happened anyways)
I’m by no means brushed up on my world war knowledge, but didn’t WWI help set the stage for the nazi party’s rise in Germany? Still a horrible event, but may have benefited someone even if the wrong someone?
I like eating food though :/
I’m always torn on this. I want to tip to help someone earn a living, but if enough of us stopped tipping employees would leave unless they were paid more. It does feel like adding suffering to the wrong people, but if out created change it would be nice eventually
My villagers keep disappearing but all I can find is a fluffy pillow I don’t recognize?
Bluey and Age of Empires II. Not sure what to expect. But if we don’t count watching with my daughter it would be Battle Bots and that sounds fun.
It works if you already have some semblance of wealth or can work remote. Someone looking to retire may find it doesn’t work where they are but they can buy the same house for half the cost in South Dakota and suddenly things pencil out.
And other instances may work as well. If a job is paying $20 an hour in a big city and $17 in a different area but rent is 30 percent cheaper it can be a difference maker, but relocating is expensive.
Just wanted to defend the other side of your blanket statement
If you lived somewhere where the GOP candidate is going to get 65 percent of the vote basically no matter what, and in the GOP primary you had an incumbent, somewhat average, right wing conservative that you’ve seen work across the aisle in the state legislator ruining against a hard core maga nut job, anti vaccine, anti public schools, openly racist etc. Do you think registering as a Republican to vote for the incumbent in that primary sounds like an okay idea? You can still vote for the Democrat and make your voice heard there at the general election even though it’s essentially guaranteed he loses.
Or is the argument against this that if the crazy maga guy wins the primary there’s a slightly better chance the Democrat can win? I’d call it unlikely where I’m at, but could see tighter districts working that way.
