Hey @[email protected] OP, I saw this on Reddit and thought of you:

That I was more addicted to the breaks and deep breathing than I was to the nicotine.
…
Yes! Because what do you do when you smoke? You go outside and take intentional deep breaths and it relaxes you. So, I kept my full routine of breaks when I needed, went outside and took intentional deep breaths. Just this time without a cigarette. Quitting was SO EASY this time and zero cravings. Because it turns out, she was right.
I need to replace a set of expired smoke detector at my elderly parents’ house. They’re too old to have alarms going off in the middle of the night just because the wind blows.
Yet, Amazon only seem to sell ones with photo-electric sensors, and many reviews complain about over-sensitivity with dust, and under-sensitivity when the room is clearly full of smoke.
Additionally, the ones with sealed 10 year batteries - many reviews report a battery life of 2 years or so in practice, with increased false positives as battery life runs down. So now, they have to replace whole units rather than just batteries.
What happened to good old ionizing smoke detectors with 9v batteries that needed replacing every 2 years or so?!
“I’d like a subscription to Skillshare (Skillshare!), a subscription to Skillshare is what I need…”
In the UK, the ads for these patches also say “requires willpower”. From what you’ve written, it sounds like that’s the part of the process you need to find in you. Good luck!
Thank you @[email protected] for asking these questions, and for everyone giving answers. I was trying to plan out my proxmox installation, and you’ve all pointed me in the right direction.
Ah, that’s understandable, we don’t want Uncle Jim doxxed over the zombie game.
Thanks for the amazing lists of other things to do. I’ve got to agree that any form of exercise is the best alternative! Are you up for sharing your dumb games with us? I’d love to have a go!
How about using the free browser-based tier of MS Office 365 https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/free-office-online-for-the-web - but with an alt email address for this purpose only?
A QR code just links to a URL. If you link to a URL that you own or control, it’ll be fine. The problem comes when people use a link shortener that allows the destination to be changed later, or if they lose control of the domain or its backend.
I miss redditbay for cheap keys and licenses and accounts.
Adguard lifetime licence - install adguard on your phone, done.
Or just configure your phone’s DNS setting to use adguard DNS, or other free adblocking DNS.
This is a good example of hallucination, both by the AI and by OP. The first and third word of each line is a synonym for average.
Oh man, dustbusters! From 10 minutes run time out of the box to 30 seconds of asthmatic wheeze after a few months’ use.
Substitute your beliefs in FOSS etc for god, veganism, Apple, Trump, Biden, your favourite band - and realise that everyone’s on their own journey. Don’t be that guy forcing your beliefs on your friends and family. Or, like you do, find a social group that does share your beliefs. Enjoy them. Enjoy your family and friends.
I stand with [email protected] !
