I read it as an allusion to the price of everything going up. But yes, eggs.

I’d say so. My wife has a degree in culinary. She’s used it to work her way up the hospitality industry and is now a regional GM over a few hotels in our area.
I wonder if Lemmy could do single sign-on support like how you can log in some places with your Google or Facebook account.
Are you saying there’s other reddit-like/inspired webservices that are part of the fediverse that aren’t Lemmy? What are those?
I’ve only found one NSFW community so far.
Yea, it’s pretty bad here.

This is what I see when I access pornhub from my home in Louisiana without a VPN.
I just learned that earlier today. I made a post about it here: https://mander.xyz/post/660612
I’m with ya though. It’s all new to us and the word needs to be spread. ✊
That’s definitely the better option. Totally slipped my mind.
A different option from Jerboa is the Lemmy progressive web app. It gives you the same functionality as you would have on a web browser.
In Chrome, login to whatever Lemmy instance you’re registered with, click the triple dot menu, and click “install app”. You’ll get a “Lemmy” app downloaded and added to your homescreen that looks and functions just like the website.
That’s the hard part. I navigate to different instances and check their community listings (either local or all). When you find a community you like, you have to copy the url from that page then go back to your instance and paste it into the community search bar.
You might be able to see it from your home instance by clicking this link: [email protected]
Edit: nope that’s not working…
I’m not so sure I agree with that use case. Consider these made-up communities on not-made-up instances:
I think the first two would be great for general questions. But since mander.xyz has a focus on science and nature, it would be more appropriate for science and nature questions.
Why make this post if you’re not going to bother posting the links?
