Don’t tell me what to do Jeffrey.
Good ol’ Linus, love that bloke.
You know when a band you love that broke up 30 years ago reform and release an album, and it’s always a bit bland and just doesn’t hit in the same way?
Well…
Reverse API changes, fire Spez, and sticky an apology to the frontpage.
But even if they did that, I’m not going back 😂
I’ve been tired of reddit for a while, too many bots, too many bad mods, too many psychos and trolls. Basically, it’s just too crowded. It’s nothing like it was when I joined in 2010. The spirit of the site died a long time ago and you can’t get it back.
I think it can be just damage to your reputation but yeah… not sure really 😕
Any lawyers reading this?
Considering how new it is and how many people (like me) who have suddenly turned up from reddit I think it’s doing brilliantly.
I’m using Jerboa and it’s not bad but it could be a bit better. I’m getting a few bugs like the screen juddering when I scroll now and again, and the UX takes some getting used to.
But yeah, overall I’m impressed and excited to see this place grow.
Just please don’t ever do a reddit 😂
Christian should sue him for that, looks like libel to me.
I’m not a lawyer though.
Hahaha oh god this is just… wow…
Hard to believe how different reddit was back in 2010
I mean I mainly spent my time on the UK based subs and we’ve got United Kingdom and casualuk equivalents here already which is good. They both need a lot more users though.
Mainly what I’m missing are skateboarding, more specific music subs like metal, punk etc., but those will come in time I’m sure.
Nice to be here by the way, still getting used to how the whole fediverse thing works but it seems pretty cool so far!
Not yet, I’m holding out to see if anything changes (I’m not hopeful though).
Come the 12th if nothing has changed I’m gonna sell my account. It’s worth about £100 apparently.
Thank you for your hard work, and sorry for being part of the reddit hoarde 😂
But seriously, thank you 👍
Yep, you can sell reddit accounts here:
