Looking for some suggestions, preferably with existing tested compatibility with the Framework laptop hardware so I can do more well rounded research. I’m the most familiar with Ubuntu and CentOS. Picked Ubuntu initially for mid 2000s nostalgia purposes but it’s time to move on.

EDIT: As some people have pointed out, “more privacy oriented” was probably not the best phrase to use here. I am looking to move off of a Linux OS with corporate sponsorship and also looking forward to exploring Linux OSes that are privacy focused.

@GravityAce Our TROMjaro www.tromjaro.com/ comes with a bunch of tools for that. A VPN, a system wide ad/tracker blocker, a custom Firefox that is stripped of their BS and has adblockers and such installed, plus a lot more. We use Arch plus XFCE and have custom tools built for the OS to make it look neat and work well.

Our approach is trade-free. Meaning you should not have to give anything in return for using the software. Not your data, not your attention or currency. Thus you won’t see ads, trackers, free trials and all of this crap.
