Same, I’m sorry but you can’t tell me any of the FOSS apps feel as good to use. People recommend WefWef and it’s a basic web app that feels horrible to use but like it because “it reminds them of RiF or Apollo”, but then complain about Apollo for Lemmy?
FOSS apps are usually a hot garbage when it comes to UI/UX and I don’t find their open sourceness appealing enough to torment myself with using them. Long live the Sync.
I don’t know what your problem with it is… I like using it. If you have improvement suggestions, the developer is pretty active in the lemmy world… Just tell him/her…
Sync is the only thing (or Apollo) that will now make me use Lemmy at all because I can’t stand how crappy it looks and works without it.
