The Biden administration is starting to change their tone on supporting israel’s Genocide in Gaza because they are losing votes.

By claiming that people need to keep voting for Biden (else Trump wins!) you are directly enabling Biden to continue supporting israel’s Genocide.

The faster Biden starts dropping in the polling the faster the Genocide will stop.

When the Genocide stops (and Biden has the power to stop it) the argument falls apart and Biden can actually campaign. Especially if a real solution to the problem is reached.

You’re putting up strawman arguments which are intellectually dishonest.

You have no intention to have a good faith debate with anyone on this platform.

You are promoting a Trump presidency in every post or comment you make, simply by bashing Biden. You don’t want him to win. You don’t want him to change. You don’t want Israel to stop the war against Palestine.

    Prove me wrong.

You don’t want Israel to stop the war against Palestine.

You used the word “war” instead of Genocide because you are denying it is Genocide.

Which is evidence that you are the bad faith actor and want to help israel continue the Genocide in Gaza.

Very cool of you to point to a single word and ignore the entire rest of my post. You obviously have no ability to discuss things at great length and will parrot whatever talking points you’ve been fed.

You have proven my point. You have no intention of intellectually debating anything, but only seek to push the narrative that Biden is bad. In effect, drumming up support for Trump.

I knew Lemmy would see your kind eventually. I’m glad you revealed yourself early on.

Yes, I do. The Israeli war should have stopped long ago. I also understand why they started the war. Using technicalities such as specific words is not going to change what it is: a war.

Now tell me how you think Biden can stop it and why he is complicit, or we’re done here.

Does your keyboard not allow Genicode through the word filter? I’m not reading it.

              Try typing it out.

If you don’t speak out against Genocide you are complicit in Genocide.

Two things be both be true at the same time you know. Also you may not have a firm grasp on geopolitics if you think some elected guy in the USA can literally stop and change other people’s minds and actions in a magical way then you’ll struggle to get any point across to anyone who doesn’t also believe in magic.

If only this happened before… Oh wait it did!

Things Biden can do which American presidents have done in the past that directly stopped israel violating human rights:

      • Threaten to put sanctions on israel

      • Hold up the delivery of weapons and fighter jets

      • Remove israel’s loan guarantees.

Firm understanding of Geopolitics you have there.

Trump will be far, far worse.

By that, I mean that Trump wouldn’t be trying to get a ceasefire, or even slow down a genocide. Trump would be encouraging it. Anyone that thinks they’re doing some grand thing by ‘sending a message’ to Biden is going to end up speeding up genocide by empowering Trump and Trump’s allies, who firmly believe that Israel not only should wipe out the Palestinians, but must do so, all so their messiah can return.

This only makes sense in a vacuum.

Talk about the other side. What happens when Biden loses? Who does he lose to? What are the expected actions of the person he loses to?

Or, are you counting Biden winning despite the lower poll numbers you’re advocating for?

The sooner Biden fixes this issue the sooner people can start voting for him again.

I’m counting on the lower poll numbers leading to Biden fixing the issue. These primaries don’t affect the real elections. If people tank his polling numbers now Biden must fix the issue.

After the issue gets fixed, those people will vote for Biden again

You are counting on the Biden ignoring the issue and have a chance to win.

No. Biden is putting pressure on Netanyahu to end his invasion of Gaza and the West Bank. Except it was Hamas this time who rejected the cease-fire deal.

I expect Biden to do what he can. That is, he damn sure shouldn’t be sending arms and ammunition to Israel and he should continue pressuring Netanyahu. But, unlike you, I’m not under the illusion that he can “fix” this. In other words, I don’t believe a drop in the polls would stop the genocide.

Except Hamas did not reject a ceasefire deal. Hamas’ ceasefire deal is still available. Which would lead to a permanent ceasefire and actually address the issue

Biden clearly did not put enough pressure on Netanyahu to accept that deal. So Netanyahu offered a shitty non-starter temporary ceasefire for all the hostages deal. As israelis always do, and then pretend like the other party doesn’t want to agree.

And then super informed Biden voters post that shit as “evidence” for their point, further showcasing their intelligence.

I never claimed to be intelligent. Your disappointment is your problem.

Well, Hamas did reject Israel’s version, but insists on their own non-negotiable demands. (Notice how I bring the evidence that you, in your arrogance, didn’t).

I don’t think Americans care either way whose ceasefire terms are accepted so long as they eventually are. Israel wants it to be temporary, Hamas wants it to be permanent.

Which do you think is better for Biden?

A permanent ceasefire is the only solution.

Israel rejectee the real offer. There is no reasonable counter offer being made.

Deferring the issue a few weeks just means it will blow up again later as it has after the last temporary ceasefire.

There’s not really a good way to bring people from the middle east into modern society. They’re still living in the 15th century. Honestly I don’t care either way. Let the Gazans kill Israelis, let the Israelis kill Gazans…idgaf. It’s all religious bullshit, and I’d rather all the religious people kill each other. Biden or no biden, voting for the president doesn’t affect this in any way other than how much firepower we give to Israel. The USA sucks Israel’s dick every day, they’re not gonna stop now.

Hate to break this to you, but the vast majority of people just do not give a fuck about Israel or Palestine.

Also, your reasoning is dubious at best.

There has never been a genuine shit given by the average person about any genocide in another country, and that’s not just the US. Hell, the US has our own shit to worry about, so even people that would care don’t have the energy to give two fucks, so they devote their single fuck given to things here.

So, hey, at least you did post an unpopular opinion based in responses here! You’ve got that going for you at least.
